Hmm, today. Today was a slow day actually. I got up at about 10:30a.m.(early for me, i've gotta stop doing that its becoming a habit!!) and i watched some TV with my family and played the nintendo wii a bit. Got a call from a friend to go out to eat so i went off and did that and then i went into work at 5p.m. and only just got off an hour ago(1a.m.) Work was so-so. It wasnt really busy but it was a steady flow of people coming in. Nothing really fun happened today so i probably just bored all of you, ah well, cant be fun every day =).

Today was a bit of a different day for me. Instead of getting to sleep in after a long night of closing(we get out at about 1a.m. when we're closing) i got to get up at 8a.m. to go back to work. So asuming it takes me 20 minutes to get home from work i would get home at about 1:30a.m.(i rounded a little) and then of course since im not the type that can go directly to sleep, lets just say i got about 4 and a half to 5 hours of sleep. The good news is i got off work before 1a.m. this time. After that i came home and spent some time with the family as well as with my animals who we just brought to our new house today(we just moved recently and the animals hadn't been brought over to the new house yet).

I also got a little bit of time to write today. Here is my days writing for you guys, feel free to let me know what you think =).

Prologue

The drops of blood on the ground were fresh. My fingertips came away stained by the crimson drops. They continued down the sidewalk, a trail leading to the culprit. I stood wiping the red off my fingers onto my black leather trench coat. The smell of death was heavy on the air and the street lay quiet and unmoving on this particular night. I followed the trail of blood and the scent of death down the sidewalk until they branched off into a nearby ally. I didn't hesitate, I followed them around the corner staring down the barren ally at a figure, slouched over another.

"How terribly cliché, draining someone in a eerie ally on a dark night?" my deep voice echoed in the confined area. The stooped figure looked behind him at me, shadows doing a good job of hiding his face allowing me to only see his base outline. I kept walking forward now that I had the figures full attention.

"She's mine!" The man all but hissed. I finally came into view of the black haired crazy eyed vampire. His fangs were gleaming in the very little moonlight streaming into the ally. His bright blue shirt was stained with the woman at his feet's blood and his black jeans looked wet from it as well. I was within three arms length from him now and he stayed staring at me with empty but protective eyes, the eyes a predator gives you when your nearing its kill.

"One chance, come with me quietly and you wont be hurt. We'll take care of the body and you'll learn to control yourself and these things wont happen again." I said calmly for the thirteenth time this week. Normally the new vampires run when approached even with a fresh kill, others attack, none ever come quietly.

He lurched to his feet amazingly fast, not fast enough though and lunged at me. A quick sidestep and I shot my arm out grabbing his and taking him to the ground locking his arm in a very painful position. He grunted and pulled forward trying to break my hold on him but I pulled up higher dropping him to a prone position.

"Your sire must have been a real ass, you don't attack other vampires especially ones who are trying to help you. Most certainly not ones who can beat you to a pulp without even breaking a sweat." I muttered over the vampires heavy breathing.

I knelt down next to the vampire, fangs extended, and whispered "Now, your going to sleep" and sunk fangs deep into his jugular. I rolled his will away under a wash of my power sent through his entire system via my bite and willed him into unconsciousness, and he slept. I stood, releasing his arm and watching it fall limply to the ground and walked over to the red haired woman he had bitten. The stench of a strong alcoholic beverage or ten made it hard to tell what he saw in her. Her soft features were still and lifeless as I bent over here and finished what he started, she was already gone so I took my due and feasted heavily on her alcohol polluted blood.

I hefted her body onto my shoulders and picked up the new vamp under my left arm and walked out of that dark ally towards the vampire barracks.

Chapter 1: The Awakening

Blood and death, that is all I could remember through the haze of the bloodlust. My mind is still haunted by the dying screams of the varity of animals they locked in that tiny cell with me to slaughter, haunted by the pleasure it brought me. I remember the day I finally awoke from that damnable mindless state I was in. I awoke with the ground of my prison littered with my day's feast. Immediately I became sick and discovered it didn't do any good because I couldn't get sick. I couldn't do anything I could do when I was human; no tears, no breath necessary, no water, no "normal food".

Do vampires have souls? I would like to think so. I mourned my loss of humanity for a full week after my awakening. How could some soulless monster mourn anything? For the first week after what I now call my "rebirth day", I didn't slaughter the animals I was brought, I didn't drain them like my captors tried to get me to do. That week was torture itself. The vampire counselor later told me that it's a normal reaction to shun the bloodlust for a while at first. He said it's what sets us apart from true monsters. The thirst from the lack of blood however was unbearable. I couldn't die from it, I could suffer though, imagine being unable to die from dehydration, of being locked in a room with water just outside in plain sight but being unable to drink, that's what I suffered. Eventually the thirst won, like they said it would.

This is the third? fourth...never mind, now that i think of it this is the 6th different blog i have ever created. Anyway, aside from my compulsive need to write a blog anywhere i go so people can know more about me.

I work for a job that has people doing stupid stuff nearly daily. I am a story author. I am many things, and the above are just a few of what you can expect to read about. Maybe i'll post about my day and what i did. Maybe i'll post an excerpt of my current story writing. You never know!

Anyway, lets add some excitment to this one since it really isnt too terribly fun right now. Here are some things for everyone to ponder haha.

Why don't "Minimalists" find a shorter name for themselves?

On the Pop-Tart box why do they state 'Warning: Pastry Filling May Be Hot When Heated'?

Are Trix really just for kids? Is there an alarm inside the box that sounds when adults (or bunnies) try to eat them?

Why do people who know the least know it the loudest?

If knowing is half the battle then what is the other half?

I know, thoes are really retarded but they give you something to read haha.
