Pensacola Lighthouse
There is an old Lighthouse in Pensacola Florida that I paid a visit to last Thursday.
Construction on the Lighthouse was started in 1856 and completed in 1859.
The lighthouse is reported to be haunted and was investigated by the show Ghost Hunters on the SYFY channel.
This is the first lighthouse I have ever visited.The view from the top of the lighthouse is amazing.Once you have climbed the 150 plus steps to the top, there is a lady at the top to answer any questions you may have.They have the living quarters of the lighthouse keeper in it's original conditions.
They have tours of the lighthouse throughout the year.Or you can explore the lighthouse on your own,which is what I did.
I enjoyed visiting the lighthouse.It was like visiting the past.
