My best line, best timing Young gentleman down the block was throwing a party for his fellow packing plant boys. Only issue I had with it was the loud music. It was past midnight and I couldn't sleep for the walls shaking. I got dressed, went down, knocked on the door, explained I was trying to sleep, and would they please turn their music down a bit. His buddies came to the door, asked what was up, and they burst out laughing when I repeated the request. Then they turned the music up louder. On the way back, I saw curtains in a couple houses rustle. Someone had to do it. So I called, though I knew the young roughnecks would know who did it. The car came. The music dropped in volume just as she pulled up to the curb. They saw her coming. A verrrrry tall lady cop got out. I stepped out onto my stoop and told her I had called, explaining my visit to the house earlier. She saw the cars everywhere, and she had seen the porch light go out as she pulled around the curb. She knew the score. When she knocked on the door, he delayed coming for some time, then acted as if he had been asleep. She didn't buy it. Now, this boy's great grandfather was Mexican. But the , he didn't speak Spanish, though he had a chip on his shoulder as if *he* were an oppressed people. You know the kind of swagger? And he plays that card everywhere he goes. He did it this night. He saw me and started yelling about I was prejudice against his people. I don't know HOW I came up with this on the spot, but when he bellered out that I was a rascist, I turned toward him and yelled back loud enough for the block to hear: "Asshole ain't a race." |

I,m suppressed the cops even came out. they don,t bother in this town on things like that !! Speaking for myself i,m very happy we don,t have blacks or mexicans here! THANK GOD !!  REINHARD HEYDRICH LETS WRITE MORE BLOGS !!
