Why do so few care?

I have traveled over the country quite a bit over the years. I noticed that even today, many gay and lesbian teens are on the streets due to their families not wanting to associate with them because they are gay. During those same travels, I have not come across a single safe house that these can go to.

Now, I know that there are heterosexual teens out on the streets, but many of those are voluntary. Some enjoy the thug or gang life.

What can we do to help our next generation of LGTB? Where can these go to get the love and support that their families refuse to give to them. Why do so few care?

I help when and where I can, but what little I do isn't enough. I am hoping that by the end of this year, I can get my Uncle Dragon Says group registered as a Non-Profit Organization. From there, maybe with the and sponsors, I can open up a place for these teens to go to get out of the in climate weather and so forth.
