A farm boy educated in Wichita and Boston, I lived in Boston for 23 years. Now I'm a professional musician looking for other work, too. Besides music, my "hobbies" include Bridge and other card games, reading, computers, and travel. I also enjoy bowling, swimming, and hiking; like languages and speak a smattering of many, plus some pretty good German. I like to eat out, am a pretty good cook, and my favorite things come from my crockpot -- they can cook while I just play!
Spend a lot of time in AA these days, as I spent too much time in the gay bars my 20 years in Boston. Most of my close friends are AA buddies, and I can tell some crazy stories about my drinking days. The stories end with me in trouble, tho'. I've been clean and sober for over 5 years. A bit wild and crazy I still am!
My Ideal Person
A butch guy taller than I and well hung. Someone honest, straightforward, positive, openminded, and good humored. I'm no cynic; you're not either! There's too much to enjoy about life! Need a versatile person who can fit in with many circumstances -- one who, though he may come on strong, has a realistic knowledge of himself. Hope he'll like some classical music, too, as it's one of my particular joys, along with jazz, and some pop and rock styles when they're well done. Some of my best friends and lovers have been interesting, open-minded high school grads, but I'll keep up with the PhD's, too! Get it on up!
