I am mellow gentle, easygoing and non-judgmental. I am smart and well read, a nonconformist, independent thinker, not to be herded around. I am an amateur musician who plays classical piano, sings (also former French horn player & composition student). Non-smoker. Healthful eater. Practices yoga regularly. Hard-core naturist gets naked whenever possible, including while hiking, swimming, paddling, socializing. I am quite willing and able to load up my canoe and go camping alone on a lake for a week or longer. I also hike the White Mountains alone in winter.
I consider myself gay, but not extremely so. By this I mean that friendship and affectionate touch are important to me. I tend to fall in love with straight men and to disappoint gay men who desire frequent intense sex acts.

Good character (kindness, respect, patience), good company, optimism, energy. Someone who cares about me but also has his own life. Someone who thinks independently and is able to disagree and still be friends. Someone who loves, or at least can put up with, classical music, and does not insist on playing country or . Someone who enjoys getting close to nature by hiking or paddling miles from the nearest car.
